Coraline was amazing. I really really want to see it again, so I think I'm going to take Hannah when I go back home. *___* Just, augh. The animation in it fffffff. I was just sitting there in complete awe. The story was so awesome too. Seriously. Go see it if you haven't already. It reduces me to keysmashy.

After I saw Coraline I went to Forbidden Planet to have a browse and bought the last +anima volume and a comic. They had Halloween Town Sora figurines in stock, holy shit. He is even cuter in real life than on the internet. I wanted it so badly but I've been spending a lot of money recently and I seriously need to cut back so I had to leave it there. That was almost heartbreaking ;_;

Also Marvel Adventures is my new favorite thing ever.


TODAY I AM GOING SHOE SHOPPING since the May Ball is on Friday and I only have converse. THIS MIGHT BE A PROBLEM.

Wow, my day has seriously been comic book oriented.

First I saw the Wolverine movie which I did enjoy! I laughed when he screamed HRRRRROOUUGHHHH instead of going NOOOOOOO both times, and my friends had NO IDEA WHY I WAS LOLING. Overall I thought some of the special effects were a bit lame and that it needed more Gambit with french accent (I wasn't impressed to begin with but he grew on me), more speaking Pietro :|, more cameos, more dramatic explosions, more HRRRRROOOUUUUGHHHHHH and less blob and less DIAMONDS ARE EMMA'S BEST FRIEND. I bet I'll start complaining about it more when I start reading the Deadpool that otilu gave me, since I'm pretty sure he is meant to have a mouth 8| (Also I didn't know that Sabretooth was Logan's brother but I'm assuming this is either true or something they did for the movie?) But I did enjoy it :3

Then I went to forbidden planet and bought some Runaways Trades and the Young Avengers Presents trade (SHUTUP SQUEAK I NEEDED IT AND I'M TOTALLY GOING TO NEVER READ TEDDY'S ONE ;A;) and got into a conversation about Tommy with one of the dudes looking at the other trades c: THEN we went on an epic book store trek and I got two +Anima books that I was missing (still need 10 but I haven't read 9 so!) and I considered buying the Umbrella Academy but decided against it and THEN THEN we got cheap DVDs (FERN GULLY 8D and The Science of Sleep) and went to wagamama's for lunch/dinner where I drew little wolverines going HRRRRRROOOUGHHH.

I had a good day 8)

I was gonna pick up my issue of Runaways from the post office, Squeak, but it was closed when I got back for 'Unforeseen Reasons' 8(

I'm gonna take a nap now, since I've got to sort out what I'm doing for that presentation tomorrow with my friends later and I'm exhausted. @_@

Surely having a internet cable thing actually plugged into the back of my computer would ensure of a smoothly running internet. Usually it gives me no problems at all, not like my wireless at home which constantly is shutting on and off, but today I spent about 8 hours trying to get my fucking internet to work. During this time I napped for three hours, watched two movies, and 5 episodes of Shaman King and its only just decided to start working, at like, 1am. Its on for now but I'm not sure if tomorrow will be much of the same and since its a weekend it means that tech support is at home and the problem won't be fixed till Monday at the earliest. Muughnrn.

So yeah, if you don't see me about at all, thats the reason why.

On the plus side, I spent the day with my friend Jason, and we did lots of life drawing, fangirled (he's totally camp, he gets no fanboying) Kingdom Hearts, Runaways and other Marvel creations, went on a fruitless mission to try and track down Trials and Tribulations for me, talked about hamsters and goldfish, and he tried to get me to buy a new DS game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, just so he could borrow it. Git. But he took me to lunch like a gentleman, so I suppose I can forgive him. He's also going to show me where the comic shop is in Newport since he lives here and says we have one, BUT I WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE. Apparently its in the Marketplace and I didn't even know we had a marketplace. I wonder if this friendship really is healthy for my wallet 8|a

So I love my parents.

They sent me a Valentine's card and I picked it up today. The mail staff was all I HAD TO WRAP THIS ENVELOPE IN CLING FILM BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING and I was all o_O what?

So I received an envelope wrapped in cling film. When I got home, I unwrapped and opened it, and not only was the card covered in a fine powder, sending a white smoky cloud into the air when I opened it, but there was what were obviously the remains of love heart candies in pieces in the envelope. The British Mail system was too much for them, but they are still in big enough chunks for me to eat, so I'm happy C:

Going to the comedy club tonight, hopefully it'll be as funny as it was last month, but it depends on who's performing. It should be a good night!

I had a ormery inhabiting my house for the past few days, which was lovely. It's seriously reawakening my love for DC comics. AAA. It's making it's work get me some of the Titans Go! Trade paperbacks and I am like ffffffkfkhghjgjnfm. WE SPENT MOST OF THOSE TWO DAYS, BTW, WATCHING TEEN TITANS. FUCK YES. but of course meant that I was dead to the internet. DID I MISS ANYTHING GAIZ?

Other than that, I'm somewhat better from my cold, and I'm back at University now (SO LONG REGULAR MEALS, SOB SOB). I also have that 2000 word essay to write still.. I'll get to it eventually, seeing as its due Wednesday. Ahaha. D8

Its also occurred to me that I should maybe sell some of my Doujinshi. The exchange rate is good for me to sell to the states, and all my doujin is just collecting dust, and I really need the money. All of it is good condition, and the art is good in most of them. Would anyone be at all interested in buying any? I'll probably post it on the kh yaoi LJ, but I was gonna open it up to my flist first. I've got, 11 AxelRoxas (most of which are pretty pagey books), 1 SasoDei (Contrail), 1 KakashiObito and 1 AllenLavi.

If anyone shows any interest I'll do a photo post. No idea how much I'm going to sell them for, seeing as a lot of them vary in size and content - for example I have FineFineFine! (AxelRoxas) volumes one and two are lumped into one book, so that would be more expensive than volume three which is on its own. But if you express any interest, let me know C:
